My MacBook is nice,but it only comes with a glossy screen, DVDs skip as soon as it is shifted and it's WiFi antenna has a terrible range. It is nice for using at a desk, but the screens get warped, they don't fit easily in a day pack, the battery life is terrible. My 12" PowerBook had a horribly bent casing, the screen was getting dim, but it never had a hard drive crash, the motherboard never fried, it had good battery life, it was durable, compact and a great road warrior. Since 2003 I have had 3 15" PowerBooks (I am using one right now) and a MacBook (which is next to me). My 12" PowerBook, which my wife just sold on eBay without telling me, was purchased in 2003.
